High Risk Patients include:

• Adults 65 years and older
• Pregnant individuals and their household members
• Indigenous peoples
• Adults and children with chronic medical conditions (6 months - 5 years)

All flu shots will be given in the doctor’s office.

• Monday: Kids only (ages 6 months–5 years old) — 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM

• Wednesday: High Risk Patients — 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM

• Friday: High Risk Patients — 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM

We expect to be able to offer flu shots to all patients starting mid November.

Starting mid-October, flu shots will also be available at most pharmacies.

If you receive your flu shot elsewhere, please call our office so we can update your medical records.

For the 2025–2026 cold and flu season, the Ontario government has expanded its Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) prevention program to help protect those most at risk of serious illness.

Who is eligible for publicly funded RSV vaccine?

• Older Adults (75+): All individuals aged 75 years and older are now eligible to receive RSV protection.
• Infants and Newborns: Babies born on or after April 1, 2025, and under 8 months of age will be offered nirsevimab (Beyfortus). This may be given at the hospital following birth or at your family doctor’s office.
• Pregnant Individuals: An RSV vaccine (Abrysvo) may be offered between 32–36 weeks of pregnancy to those delivering during RSV season who intend to decline Beyfortus for their newborn.

This program reduces the risk of severe RSV illness for infants and older adults, the groups most vulnerable to complications.

If you have already received Arexvy or Abrysvo, you do not need another dose. 

Please talk to your healthcare provider to see if RSV protection is right for you.

Important Update: The Bayview Village After Hours Clinic is no longer operating as of April 01, 2025. 

To ensure that our patients continue to receive timely care, we are working with another family physician group in the North York area to provide After Hours Care. Please call 416-213-1170 to book an appointment with the covering physician.

Please note that while you may be seeing another physician who may be located in a different office, they will have access to your chart , ensuring continuity of care. Patients MUST book an appointment to be seen as no walk-ins will be allowed.

We kindly ask that you continue booking regular weekday appointments for chronic or non-urgent issues so that we can reserve the evening/weekends for acute issues.
