At this time, flu shots in our office are reserved strictly for high-risk patients. 

** NO WALK INS -   To schedule your flu shot, your RSV vaccine, or both, please call our office directly.**

High-Risk Individuals Include:
• Adults 65 years and older
• Pregnant individuals and members of their immediate household
• Indigenous peoples
• Adults and children (aged 6 months to 5 years) with chronic medical conditions

1. Pharmacy Alternative: 

If you cannot attend our clinic times, flu shots will also be available at most local pharmacies starting mid-October. If you choose to receive your flu shot elsewhere, please notify us so we can update your chart.

2. Special Update: Free RSV Vaccine for Patients Aged 75+All Ontario residents aged 75 years and older are eligible to receive the Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) vaccine fully covered by OHIP. RSV is a major cause of severe respiratory illness and hospitalization in older adults.

• Clinic Appointment Required: Publicly funded RSV vaccines CANNOT be administered by pharmacists. To receive your free vaccine, you must book directly with our office.

• Get Both Shots at Once: If you are 75 or older, you can safely receive your RSV vaccine and your annual flu shot at the exact same time during our Wednesday or Friday clinic hours.

• Past Recipients: The RSV vaccine provides multi-year protection. 

If you already received an RSV shot in a previous season, no additional dose is required this year. 

Please call us to update your records if you received it elsewhere.

With the respiratory illness season quickly approaching, we want to help you and your loved ones stay protected. Please review the important schedule updates regarding our annual flu clinics and the provincial RSV prevention program.

Important Update: The Bayview Village After Hours Clinic is no longer operating as of April 01, 2025. 

To ensure that our patients continue to receive timely care, we are working with another family physician group in the North York area to provide After Hours Care. Please call 416-213-1170 to book an appointment with the covering physician.

Please note that while you may be seeing another physician who may be located in a different office, they will have access to your chart , ensuring continuity of care. Patients MUST book an appointment to be seen as no walk-ins will be allowed.

We kindly ask that you continue booking regular weekday appointments for chronic or non-urgent issues so that we can reserve the evening/weekends for acute issues.
